Privacy Policy
Creative Employment Access Society (CEAS) recognizes the importance of
privacy as well as the sensitivity of personal information collected in
the course of providing service to our clients. We take seriously the
obligation to maintain the confidentiality of our clients' information
that we collect, use or disclose in our service.
The Personal Information Protection Act regulates the way private
sector organizations within British Columbia collect, use, keep, secure
and disclose personal information. “Personal Information” means all
information about an identifiable individual. This policy describes the
way that CEAS manages personal information at its disposal.
Our Need for Personal Information
The services provided by CEAS are intended to assist our clients
prepare for and find work. In order to be able to give advice and
assistance to our clients, we need access to relevant personal
information. We limit the personal information we collect by using
standardized forms which have been carefully designed to collect only the
information necessary to enable our staff to make reasoned and informed
decisions.
The second reason we need to collect personal information is to meet a
requirement of our funding. Please refer to the other side of this

Security of Personal Information
We are obligated to protect all personal information we have gathered
to carry out our service. We have made arrangements to secure against the
unauthorized access, collection, use, disclosure, copying, modification,
disposal or destruction of personal information.
